I grew up with a nice treat on Sundays – brown sugar bacon. TJoes turkey bacon is – well meaty- and actually doesn’t taste like bacon for a lot of reasons- it’s not. So to “spice it up” I cook (stovetop in pan) it up with a spread of brown sugar and then some caliente spice (in this case Jamaican spice I got there but I’ve used cayenne pepper and other spices before). A little sizzle and spice for the morning! Yum yum. Of course you can do this with any bacon and have some fun with it!
